The Ransom Whitney that Karen is inquiring about is the brother of Dempsey
Whitney who we believe is my wife's g-g-grandfather. There is information
I sent to the Whitney Research Group which connects Ransom back to John and
Elinor. We are anxious to compare information with other researchers of
this Whitney Branch, but just returned home from a reunion and hadn't been
able to answer Karen's query.
