Hate to split hairs but Sunbury County, Nova Scotia
was split off and became New Brunswick in August
of 1784. On May 18, 1785, Parrtown (also previously
called St.John's ) was renamed Saint John so,
technically, Saint John was never part of Nova Scotia.
