Hello Jon,

I am replying to your message in the Whitney GenForum about the found Whitney Family Bible. I believe that the John Whitney b. 4/17/1783 in this Bible record descends, as I do, from Nathaniel and Sarah (Ford) Whitney of York and Gorham, Maine. I believe he is the son of Asa Whitney and Patience (Weston) Whitney of Gorham. I would be interested in any further information you could supply about this Bible and family. I am copying this message to the Whitney Research Group, where more people may be interested.
