Since there are so many new members to the group at this time I am resending
my data in hopes that someone out there recognizes the info and can help me
in my search to tie in my Whitneys.
Just a note also have been told that our line is to Eli and also the woman
who by marriage was a Whitney who owned the New York baseball team and her
husband.

SOPHIE.

Child of WILLIAM WHITNEY and SOPHIE is:
2. i. MARTHA PEARL2 WHITNEY, b. November 12, 1915, Detroit, Michigan; d.
March 1964, Detroit, Michigan.

Note for Sophie she had sister named Eleanor? or possibly it was
Sarah (Margaret) who was married to Gus Kanehl. Gus and his wife had children
named Eleanor and Aurthor Kanehl. Eleanor graduated from College in 1937 in
New York.
Note for Gus Whitney listed on the unconnected Whitney data base.
He was Martha’s brother-in-law not brother that is a mistake his name is Gus
Kanehl.

2. MARTHA PEARL2 WHITNEY (WILLIAM1) was born November 12, 1915 in Detroit,
Michigan1, and died March 1964 in Detroit, Michigan1. She married (1)
HERBERT OSGAN, son of OSGANIAN. He was born July 13, 1913 in Ohio, and died
July 24, 1987 in Southfield, Oakland County, Michigan. She married (2) LA
FORGE. She married (3) HAGEMAN.
