In an autograph book belonging to my GGGrandfather, E. H. Nixon, I found this
entry about Sarah BROOKS, b. 1782.
"Sarah married PHELPS. Her children's names were Sarah who married B.
WHITNEY. They left an adopted child EMMA..." This Phelps family was in the
Lexington, Mass. area. Any idea who B. Whitney may be?
