An update to you all...I heard today from the hotels in Harvard Square that I was
hopeful about with the one high end and the other low-end. I was disappointed to
hear that the "bargain" they would give was $179.00 per night in the "cheap"
hotel, $229.00 a night in the Harvard Inn and $1200/day for the use of a
conference room. Needless to say, I will be looking further to give the group
further options. I picked up the Fodor's Boston 2001 as a guide. I also called
a Watertown hotel, but they don't have any conference rooms and I don't have much
faith in the hotel anyway. I'd really want to go over and see it in person. So,
I'll keep you all updated.
