Hi Jo,

I took no offense nor do I expect anyone else did. Your issues are real. Being
disabled and living on not much more than disability benefits myself, I truly
understand the difficulties. My response was just to remind people that Carolyn
and I are merely gophers and the group will make the decisions.

Also, for you or anyone else coming in who may need to make alternative
arrangements, I can at least give some guidance in terms of how close somewhere
may be to where the conference is being held, etc. For example, if we end up in
Lexington, an alternative may be to stay at a basics-only hotel a little to the
West where the prices are lower and come in from that direction which doesn't
take much more time, but the cost can be considerably lower.

And to all, the kudos this week have been most appreciated. (Flattery will get
you everywhere!!)

Finally, Allan, as for the Red Sox, I'll keep my opinion about that lousy,
terrible, horrible, dissappointing, money-hungry, parking-space-hoarder baseball
team to myself and let you know once I hear that the schedule is out for you to
go and waste your time at if they're here.
