Hi! I want to come to the reunion, but have difficulty planning that far
ahead. I am learning to be a single person after 56 years of marriage. I
miss my fellow traveler.
Lately, I have moved from planning one day at a time to one month at a time.
Settling all the affairs takes longer than I thought.
I am trying to find one of my many nieces or nephews who live in other
states to be interested enough to go with me. (Our only descendent died in
1993)
If I come I will be flying and will not try public transportation nor am
I self-confident enough to drive in an unknown city. The taxi or limousine
would be my transportation.
I am "unconnected". Would like to meet Jeanne Muse,, Allan, Robert and
others who helped my research even before we became an organized group. Ron
Whitney visited us here when he was in California. I have not heard anything
from him for a long time.
I would like to visit that part of the USA. We taught in China and
traveled other places but I have not been east of the Mississippi since we
were married (1944) in Philadelphia where my husband was stationed in the
Navy.
It would be nice to be at the reunion.
I would like to have a group picture taken. If some of us cannot come
perhaps we could purchase pictures and other materials about the Reunion.
Count me as a maybe. I hope to be there, God Willing. I am not as old
as Ray, but will be 80 by that time. But in very good health.
