Dear WRG: The "Unconnected Whitneys" MISCWHIT.GED database will be due for an update in Sept. 2001. This contains Whitney and related family surnames for whom no connection has been made with the "major" lines of John and Elinor, Henry, or Southern Whitneys. Because it is a database of ongoing research, email and other addresses are included in the sources, and there may be living persons included.

The following have submitted changes or additions since it was last released 29 Sep 2000. If you need to add your "unconnected" Whitney families to this database, send me a Gedcom or Family Tree Maker file. (Remember to remove any information about living persons that you do not want the world to see.) Jeanne Muse
