Hi Everyone!

I am still looking for parents of Nancy WHITNEY, who married Benjamin
PUFFER in October 1778. My research shows that Benjamin married Nancy
before he got our of the War at which time he relocated to Maine. The
marriage record says of Nancy that she was "of Roxbury, MA" which
indicates she might not have been born there. Is there a posibility she
was born to one of the "Maine Whitneys"? I have been unable to find
any birth record for her.

Benjamin and Nancy finally relocated to NY as both of their sons were
born in Columbia County ca 1790, before they relocated in Delaware
County, NY. I believe they died in Delaware County but have not been
able to find death certificates or cemetery records for either one. If
anyone has any information that would give me a new direction of
research, it would be most appreciated. Thanks.
