Hello All,

This is a bit off the subject, but I want to caution everyone about
bidding on genealogy books on internet auctions.

FIRST, check other genealogy book sites to see if the particular book
you want is offered brand new.

Several years ago I paid THREE times the price for a book which I could
have gotten from one of the genealogy book dealers. As a newbie, I so
was excited to find and "win" the bid - until - a kind person emailed me
with the suggestion I now pass on to you. Caveat emptor!
