I have to agree with this although it certainly has changed life for my
family. I am with my daughter-in-law... the planned visit with her AND my
son changed when he was called to active military duty after Sept 11. It
appears he probably will not be home for the upcoming birth of their first
child.
My older son is also now active duty, so who knows what will happen. I had
planned to attend the reunion accompanied by some of my children and
grandchildren, but now we are trying to get through a few days at a time,
can't even think about next summer.
I agree that life must go on, but for some of us things are vastly different
than they were a month ago.
