Sam, I wonder if you or anyone on the Whitney list knows anything of the
parentage or line of Betsey DARBY who marr David Whitney? The reason I ask
is because I have a Mary ("or Betsey"!) who marr Samuel CLEVELAND. (DARBE
also spelled DERBY). She was b ca 1705, Groton, MA, Samuel CLEVELAND was b
ca 1700 @ N. Kingston, RI, d 11 June 1762 @ Pomfret, Windham Co., CT. Samuel
and Mary/Betsey marr 12 Nov 1724.
They had the following children: Phinehas*; James; Curtis; Edward; Mary, and
Edward.

I've never found any info at all on Betsey's family. I'm hoping that
possibly you may have some that you'd be willing to share with me. I'll be
glad to share any Wilbur/Wilbore, or Cleveland info that you may want.
