Hello Sherrill,

I'm sorry you haven't yet had any luck on your St. Lawrence family. I'm also still looking for more information on an Arvilla Whitney, b. in the same county (Norfolk) approximately 1860, daughter of Paul and Jane Whitney. Also in the household are Cornelius Whitney, Gertrude, James, Jessie and Robert Whitney. Jane and Paul are both said to be born in Vermont, as well (1870
Census). and am curious if you've run across this family at all? I'd be grateful for any tidbits you may have found.

Thanks,

Lyn Legere

Russel's sons were Royal Edwin, Horace E. and Samuel N. Hoping that these names might be the same as Russel's brothers, or uncles.
