Dear Dorothy: Thank you for the information on Elizabeth (aka Bessie Elsworth) Wetmore. She descends from the immigrant Henry Whitney of Connecticut, and is contained in the database I maintain for the Whitney Research Group (http://www.whitneygen.org). Her great-great grandparents were David Brown Wetmore (1764-1845) and Elizabeth Whitney (1773-1846). For that reason, I am sending a copy of this message to the Whitney email list for their info.

I lack all dates for Elizabeth, her siblings and parents, so all information on her and her Wetmore family is needed. In fact, I do not even have her mother's name and only have her father's name as George Wetmore b. circa 1880. I hope you will keep me in mind if you come upon more information on this family.

Hazel Woodford forwarded your message to me as this Empringham line is
connected to my husband.

I don't know if you are interested in this information on Elizabeth
(actually born Bessie Elsworth Wetmore) but thought I would send it
on. She had her name legally changed to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth married William Enoch Empringham 10 Jun 1936 at St Saviour
Church, East York, Ontario. They had one child William Denis Empringham
born 25 Oct 1940. He married Mary Ellen Shaver and they had one son,
William Kyle Empringham

That is about all I know about this line except for the obit of Elizabeth
