Hello All!

My dad, John C. Whitney b. 1927, calls it "wheeling and
dealing" but I guess I call it negotiating. Anyway, my talks
with the Sheraton Inn in Lexington, Ma regarding accommodations for
the Whitney Research Group Reunion 2002 have resulted in the
following. Please let me know what you think.

WHITNEY RESEARCH GROUP REUNION 2002
At the Sheraton Inn in Lexington, Ma. August 9-11, 2002

The rooms are $84 per night , double occupancy.

The cost for food as outlined below is $119.54 for adults
including all tips and tax. The cost for children is $100.94, with
the maximum age being 12 years.Please note that lunch on Saturday
is not included. You are on your own for lunch.

AUGUST 9, 2002

Check in at 3pm.

Cocktail Reception at 5-6pm in the Ballroom
Cash Bar
On table:
*cheese and crackers
*fruit and yogurt
Hand passed hors'douvres
*sesame chicken tenders with honey Dijon sauce
*scallops wrapped in bacon
* marinated beef sticks
*quiche tartlets

Dinner Reception at 7-9pm in the Ballroom:

Dinner menu for adults:
*fruitcup with berries
*garden salad with raspberry vinaigrette or creamy Italian dressing
*chicken tavern (chicken stuffed with apple stuffing with supreme sauce)
or
Baked Scrod with bread crumbs
*oven roasted potatoes
*mixed vegetables
*dinner rolls and butter
*carrot cake
*coffee, tea, decaf, milk

Dinner menu for children:
*fruit cup with berries
*garden salad with raspberry vinaigrette or creamy Italian dressing
*chicken fingers with french fries
or
penne pasta with french fries
*dinner rolls and butter
*carrot cake
*milk or soda


SATURDAY, AUGUST 10, 2002

Breakfast buffet at 9am in the Ballroom (we can make this earlier if
needed):
*scrambled eggs
*fruit bowl
*breakfast potatoes
*toast
*orange juice
*coffee, tea, decaf

Snack Break- pick up your snack bags at the Continental Lounge to
take on your afternoon field trip
Bags contain: assorted cookies, whole piece of fruit,
non-carbonated water or soda.

Dinner Reception at 7-9pm in the Colonial Room
Cash bar
Dinner menu for adults:
* tortellini with garlic pesto cream sauce
*New England clam chowder with oyster crackers
*Chicken marsala (boneless chicken sauteed with marsala wine sauce and
mushrooms)
or
Roast pork loin (herb crusted pork loin served with apricot brandy
demi glace
*rice pilaf
*green bean almondine
*dinner rolls and butter
*chocolate cake
*coffee, tea, decaf, milk

Dinner menu for children:

*New England Clam chowder with oyster crackers
