A few years back I visited the Concord Historical Society (I think that's
what it was! - it was in an old house close to the town center). I
toured around the house, and on the wall was a list of local people who
had fought either as Minutemen or were involved locally in the War - I
forget which. On the list was a WHITNEY - I think the first name was Asa
or Abraham.
