Jon, I've never submitted my Whitney line, mainly, I suppose, because I'm
something of a Johnny-Come-Lately to the Whitney side of my family. Although
I've been working on our family's genealogy for about 23 years, I only
stumbled on the Whitneys until a year or so ago.

Part of what I have is directly from the Whitney list!

John Whitney, b ca 1589 (bapt. 20 July 1592) in England, marr Elinor BRAY
(?), b 1599, d 11 May 1659 @ Watertown, MA.

Jonathan, in England, marr Lydia JONES, b ca 1632, d 3 Feb 1701-2 @ Sherborn,
Middlesex Co., MA. She was d/o Lewis & Anne (Stone) JONES.

Children of Jonathan & Lydia (Jones) Whitney:

1) Benoni, b 1683, marr Mary WINCH, B @ Hollison, MA

2) *Lydia, b 2 Feb1684 @ Watertown, MA, d @ Framingham, MA

3) Elizabeth, b 1686 @ Sherborn, MA, d 1724 (?) @ Sherborn; she marr
Daniel RYDER.

4) Hannah, 1688-1718,d @ Sherborn, marr Nathaniel FISKE

5) Elizabeth (again)m b 1689 (I really don't understand this one!)

6) Moses, b 1691, d bef 1780, marr Deborah SAWIN (?)

7) James, b 1693, d 1728 @ Sherborn, marr Abigail HILL

8) Isaac, b 1695, d 1730 Sherborn; marr Martha VOSE

9) Abigail, b 1697, d 1729 Sherborn, marr Nathaniel PERRY

Moses ADAMS, who marr Lydia Whitney, was s/o (Lt.) Henry & Elizabeth (Paine)
Adams. (I have that line back a few more generations.)

John FISKE, who marr Lydia ADAMS, was b 1684, d 1730 @ Sherborn, MA; he marr
(2) Mary FAIRBANKS. (Have Fiske line to ca 1400; and Fairbanks to mid
1400's.)


I'm fairly sure of my facts until I get to the Whitneys; I don't have any
research on them that I've done myself, and I think I've mixed up some of
their children...maybe a lot of them??!
