Dear Reunion Participants,
AS part of the reunion program, we are planning on having Saturday
afternoon be a time for "field trips." AS we only have about 35 people
registered for the weekend, it doesn't make sense for us to prepare
maps, etc. for every conceivable place people might want to go. So, to
help us effectively and efficiently do the preparations, I would
appreciate folks picking one place from the list below that they would
like to have prepared information provided for at the reunion.
Information we will provide includes maps, historical highlights in the
area, libraries, etc. and the realities of what the route is like (e.g.
Route 128 on a Saturday afternoon can be pretty crowded vs. Route 2
after Concord becomes more country like, etc.)
I picked out major cities in particular areas of the state. If you know
where your branch of the family settled, you might want to check a map
and when you reply, note the area I've listed, but then also, a
particular city in that area. For example I've listed the Leominster
area and Harvard is out there. So you would respond: Leominster area
with special interest in Harvard.
Thanks, all. I'd appreciate your replies ASAP as we, the planners, will
need time to put all the paperwork together, so your help in a quick
reply would be most appreciated.
Lyn
