Please don't take offense at any of my nonsense -- in trying to be
humorously flip, I sometimes don't think before turning my typing fingers
loose (Oh! For the good old days of carbon copies, when the too-swift
clicking of a "send" button couldn't splatter egg on one's face). I wasn't
even actually referring to non-John & Elinor links, but just non-direct but
way-back-there linked links. You're right, of course, that the whole idea of
the list is research. I'm sorry for my unthinking response to the
"identification" post, but I truthfully doubt whether the poster, either,
meant any disrespect to anyone -- probably just thought it would make it
easier to keep track.
Again, I'm sorry. I hope you'll change your mind and stay on the list.
Merry
