Subject: [WHITNEY-L] Reunion

To All:
Earlier, I ,the 85 year old Ray Whitney, indicated that I would like
to attend the Whitney Reunion if physically able. I am barely physically
able, but our Grandson graduated from the University of Memphis last Sunday,
and also was an ardent Marine ROTC trainee. He is now scheduled to go to
Quantico July 9, and will finish his officer's training and be commissioned a
2nd Lieutenant in the Marine Corps in August. We have committed to our
daughter that we will go with them to attend his Commissioning, and I have to
have that given preference over our going to the reunion.
Sorry, I am late advising on this,but thought I should let you know I
cannot attend. Sure hope you have a great time and will be thinking of you
all. If you put out any reports on it, would appreciate having a copy.
