I found Grandfather Charles Porter Whitney's two sisters living in
Dunbar, W.Va. in the 1920 U.S. Census-W.Va.
Dorothy Whitney Clark was a widow with 4 children-Leonard age 14,Tina
age 12, Kensler age 10, and daughter Brasie age 8.
Her sister Anna D. Whitney was a laborer in an axe factory in Dunbar.
Her son Alvin was not living with her at the time. She was still single. Anna
and her son Alvin both had an extra thumb on their hand.
