The information recently posted by Laura Sullivan
lists a marriage between John Whitney and Desire
Avery. Thanks Laura.

I have been trying to link this John Whitney for many
years, without success. He is found in Horton, Nova
Scotia in 1760. There is considerable info available on
Desire - b. about 1736, New London, Conn., d/o Nathan
Avery and Rachel Desire Yeomans - but I have not been
able to identify this John other than that he was born
about 1732 in Connecticut. The fact that he was born
in Connecticut makes me hope that this John may be a
"Henry" descendant.

If anyone can link this man, I'd appreciate the help.
