WRG,

I have a marriage record of D. C. Whitney, of Harding City Ohio and Elizabeth Linder of East St. Louis, IL. They were married Nov. 20 1879 in St. Louis, MO. Unfortunately there is not a marriage license or application available.

I know that D. C. Whitney is my Great grandfather, David Case. I have checked all the available maps for Ohio and no luck on the location of Harding City. Have any of you researching in Ohio ever seen reference to Harding City (pre 1880) before and know if it existed and where it might be?
