14. Henry Mitchell Whitney, Librarian; born Northampton, Massachusetts 16 Jan 1843, son of Josiah Dwight and Clarissa (James) Whitney. Brother of James Lyman Whitney; married Frances Wurts 3 Aug 1869; Home: Branford, Connecticut. Died 1911. Lived Geneva, Illinois and Beloit, Wisconsin.

James Amaziah Whitney, Lawyer, author., born Rochester, New York 30 Jun 1839, son of Amaziah and Margaret Scotland (Taylor) Whitney (7th in descent from John and Elinor) married Eda Annie, daughter of John Wickham Copley, 31 Oct 1876. (Died 1895.) Home Maryland, Otsego County, New York. Deceased. (Note--I'm not sure if the 1895 death date was meant for Eda Annie or James.)
