WEEKS/WICKS/WICKES/WIX/WYX families in Fairfield Co. Specifically, I'm
looking for the parents of Stephen WEEKS/WICKS who m. Susannah [BETTS]
DUNNING (widow of Thaddeus DUNNING), Norwalk, 1786:
The Ancient Historical Records of Norwalk, Connecticut -- p. 75
Stephen Wicks married Susannah Dunning Sept. 27, 1786.
James Wicks, born Oct. 14, 1787.
William Wicks, born March 5, 1789.
Sally Wicks, born Feb. 1, 1791.
Joseph Wicks, born March 5, 1793.
Benjamin Wicks, born Jan. 13, 1795. ---> my
ancestor
Harriet Wicks, born Jan. 17, 1797.

I would also be very interested in finding out what happened to Benjamin's
siblings. Benjamin married Maria Whitney (b. June 27, 1792, Norwalk; dau. of
Ebenezer Whitney and Ruth Raymond). They settled in Henrietta, Monroe Co.,
NY and are bur. in Webster, Monroe Co., NY.
