My son is participating in a DNA study for his father's HOGLE family line.
We have 5 participants, all direct male Hogle descendants. A company called
Relative Genetics in Salt Lake City is doing the study for us at a cost of
$195 per person.
Since we have not been able to connect our Hogle line with the Hogles that
were all here at the time of the Revolution, we are hoping this will show we
are connected and then we can work from both ends to find the connection.
For Whitneys it would be harder as many of us are not of the direct male
line (example, my great great grandfather Whitney had only daughters that
survived).
