While looking for someone else, I bumped into this family on the 1930 census
for Bainbridge, Chenango Co., New York:

Charles A. WHITNEY 41 (m. age 22) farmer
Georgianna 44 (m. age 25)
Roberta 18 daughter; servant with private family
Beatrice 16 daughter; servant with private family
Leland 14 son
Olive 13 daughter
Andrew J. 11 son
Velma 9 daughter
Kenneth C. 8 son
Amanda C. WINNIE(?) 77 mother b. Penna.

Amanda appears to be Charles's mother, as his is listed as born in
Pennsylvania, while Georgianna's parents were born in New York.

Come to think of it, some of these kids are probably still alive.
