Welcome to the Whitney Research Group. I hope we will be able to assist you
in your searches. In order to do so, could you please supply just a little
more information about your earliest Whitneys that you know to be reliable
fact. For instance, can you pin the time frame down to a decade or two for
the people you are seeking. Or, could you be more specific than you have
been about places in the two states you mention -- which counties, perhaps?

Have you found our WRG website yet? The search engine that one of our
members has created for that site really works well. You might try plugging
in the names you are searching for and see what comes up.
