Hi:

Posting again...different family??

1870 Westborough Mass Census shows
George W. Whitney, age 36, bn vt (1834)
Sophia A.I, age 34, bn VT (1836)
Willard Whitney, age 15, bn VT, (1855)
Melville M.Whitney, age 11, bn VT (1859)

I found them in the 1800 Spencer Worcester MA Censes but stating that
Melville was born in MASS

Does anyone know anything about this family? Is this the Melville who is the
father of Howard born 1902 in Lakeville MA? Is this the Willard found in the
1900 Census of Addison County, Vermont (Salisbury) married to an Eliza?(hard
to read the name).

Any help would be appreciated. In fact, if someone has access to the
genealogy.com family books page there are some of these Whitneys listed, I
believe, in the John Gibson & His Descendents book however I no longer
subscribe. I'm not sure if this is their information though as I just saw a
small blurb.
