I've checked the Pierce book and the online transcription for both 2482 Mary
and 2485 Jacob match what is listed there. However, this is not to say that
the data is correct. We have found that Pierce has many errors and this may
be yet another example. You are well founded by not trusting printed data,
especially when something doesn't seem right. In order to prove or disprove
your theory, you're probably going to have to do some more digging into this
family. I'm sorry I couldn't solve this by verifying it was a simple
transcription error.
