Thank you all for the info you have given me. My head is spinning and I don't
quite have it all figured out quite yet but I will. I would be happy to share
these written pages from my great aunt re: her recollections of past
ancestors. There are quite a few anecdotes about different relatives and
Nathan (the father of Nathan). She tells about Nathan working on the locks at
Harpers Ferry and how one time he had to swim across a river with his "punk"
and it got wet and he almost froze before he could get a fire going. Again,
these pages have a lot of references to native Americans and sometimes it is
hard to follow because the info is fragmented and the narrative "skips"
around but I would be glad to share any of it-it's 7 typewritten pages.
