Greetings to the group! I'm fairly new here but would like to introduce
myself. I'm Scott J. Whitney from Claremont, NH. My branch of the family
has resided in Claremont for about one hundred years now. Once I dig out
the geneology, I can then post our entire lineage but right now I would just
like to mention that I and my son Justin are the last remaining male
Whitney's in our line who can carry on the family name. All other branches
of the family around us have fallen by the wayside either lost through
marriage or early death.

I do know that prior to 100 years ago our lineage was from the Leominster,
MA area. When I get the exact names together, I would be very pleased to
hear from some of my long lost but indeed closest relatives.
