Evva F. Crosby was a descendant of Henry Whitney of Connecticut through Ebenezer Whitney and his wife Ruth Raymond. She is listed in our DAR Whitney Extracts - Volume 89, page 69; Mrs. Evva Crosby Zufelt - DAR ID Number: 88210

Hi Jeanne,

Just for fun I came across Evva's name in the DAR in WI. I am pretty
sure I have Evva's old watch worn like a locket dated around 1896. I
bought it almost 30 years ago but do not remember the details. I am
selling my collection of watches and for some reason I became intrigued
by the engraving "Evva F. Crosby" on the back cover. I guess her
married name was Zufelt. What I do not understand is why she would have
her maiden name on the watch.

Just wanted you to know someone reads the internet you must put a lot of
effort into this work.
