Thank you responing to my letter, my name is Kathy, yes i have alot of questions to ask. but let me first tell you there are two sides to the Whitney family, the rich and the poor the poor being from Vermont. the rich from mass, and ny. i have try to write mary-lou about c.v. but she never responed to my letter maybe she thought i wanted something like money, not true just help, with my mother family tree, she is the last of the Whitneys on the Vermont side.I have so much imformation of that side except about Fred Calvin Whitney, he is my grandfather father, My grandfather name was Arthur Whitney. there is so much missing and i need to know if you could help me find it? maybe not but I'm going to asked .
Alfred Vanderbilt, was also my great uncle but he was to old and going blind and he was a little deaf, he never would have understood what I was asking. I did meet him while i was working at Belmont Race Track in New York.
I married into a horse racing family so i do know the racing industry and how they can be closed mouth about some things, I had enough people helping me,but nothing worked. So please if you can help me I would be Very Thankful. you could never know how important this is for me, to do something like this for my mother, before god forbid passes away.
