Probably this was Warren-7 WHITNEY, born 23 Sep 1785, Readsboro, Bennington
Co., VT,
son of John-6 and Joanna (HAMILTON) WHITNEY [Nathan-5, Thomas-4, Eleazer-3,
Thomas-2,
John-1]. He married, 1 Mar 1812, Shaftsbury, Bennington Co., VT, Polly
MATTESON,
born 11 Aug 1788, Shaftsbury, daughter of Thomas and Thankful (SWEET) MATTESON.
This information can be found in the LDS International Genealogical Index.

Both Warren and Thomas WHITNEY can be found in the 1850 census at Albion,
Oswego Co.,
NY. Warren can be found in New Haven, Oswego Co., NY, in the 1840
census. Apparently
Warren can be found in Plainfield, Otsego Co., NY, in the 1830 census. He
can be
found in Oswego, Oswego Co., NY, in the 1820 census.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Robert
