Dear friends,

I have today posted 110 more files to the WRG website. They include
quite a few city directory extracts, and transcriptions of the rest of
Volume 1 (through page 916) of Phoenix's _Whitney Family of Connecticut_,
only pages including persons bearing the WHITNEY surname. Those people
seem to have been born after 1787. See the "What's New" page at
<http://www.whitneygen.org/misc/new.html>; for a list of recent changes to
the website.

This seems like a pretty good place to pause in my transcription efforts.
Transcription of more pages including WHITNEY-surnamed persons will
continue sporadically, until all are done. Then the pages for descendants
with other surnames will be started. Finally, indexes will be either
transcribed or compiled anew.
