Found this family in the 1860 census for Crystal Lake, Hennepin, Minnesota

E. WHITNEY; 41, male, farmer, real prop value $2000, pers prop value $300,
born in Maine
ElizT Whitney; 29, female, born in Maine
May A.Whitney; 7, female, born in Minn
Geo. A Whitney; 5, male, born in Minn
Phoeba Whitney; 3, female, born in Minn
Albert G. Whitney; 8/12, male, born in Minn
Note: name of town is recorded on census as Chrystal Lake which is not
accurate spelling, and the box for "color" is blank on the entire page. The
census taker used dittos for all infomation repeated in columns rather than
spelling it out for each individual.
