I think the easiest time for most people to get anywhere for a reunion
is a summer weekend, with some possibility for people to extend the trip
in order to access various research locations. Could one of the DC area
people do some checking out of hotel/motel costs in the area? I will be
coming by car, so I would love to go to a place with parking. Proximity
to the Metro would be helpful; I could bring some family members who are
not genealogically interested if they can get around.

Suburban DC is fine for me. July would be the preferred time. I don't
have children living at home, though, so in theory I could go anytime.
I don't care whether it is Virginia or MD, although MD is closer to
home from the point of view of driving. An additional advantage of DC
is that it is readily and cheaply available by plane and train (and bus)
as well as by car. If you go to MD, Baltimore airport is sometimes
cheaper than either of the DC airports.
