To the WRG:

For future (post 2004) long term reunion planning, you may want to
consider using a professional reunion organizer to take the load off of
a few volunteers. To find someone who fits the bill, do a Google search
on

reunion organizers professional

There is also an association of N.A.R.M - National Association of
Reunion Managers which could give you some ideas.

Some of these people say it won't cost you anything additional to use a
Reunion Manager. I suspect they have some commission arrangement with
hotels, etc. so that they can earn the same commission as a travel
agent. Even if they charge something ($5-$10 a head?), it seems to me it
would be worth it.

In 1997, I particpated in a high school (all classes) reunion of over
1400 people. We had a committee of about 12 people and some of us have
still not recovered.

For details, see http://members.aol.com/chsreunion/gr97.htm

The next time, we hope to hire a professional.
