In researching the children of George Ransom Whitney, b. 1801 in MA I find that Pierce only list 4 children:

Harriet Ann b. 1831
George A. b. 1838
Mary Ester b. 1841
and James b. 1843

On the 1840 census there is:
1 male 1835 - 1840 (George)
1 male 1820 - 1825
1 male 1800 - 1810 (George Ransom)
1 female 1830 - 1835 (Harriet Ann)
1 female 1800 - 1810 (Harriet Maria Bronson)

My question is does anyone know who the male born 1820 - 1825 could have been? Pierce list only two siblings for George Ransom - Albert A., b. 1811 and Martha Cleveland, b. 1818. Considering there is a big age difference between George and Albert I assume there could be more siblings. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
