Yesterday I reviewed the Civil War pension file for Stillman F. Whitney of Guilford, Piscataquis Co., Maine. Stillman was the son of Aaron and Mary Whitney of Guilford. Back in 1997, a person, I believe an E. Brown, sent information to the Whitney list about Aaron and his family. At that time, Aaron was an unconnected Whitney. I would be interested in finding out if this Aaron Whitney and family remain unconnected. I can't find him listed in the current unconnected list. I will pass on the informaton that I obtained from the pension file. If anyone can help with this family, I would appreciate it.
