With the arrival of the email from Robert Ward, regarding the reunion, I was disappointed in the realization that once again I would be unable to attend.

However, it also was a reminder of WHY I could not attend and the fact that I had an announcement to share with the list.

The announcement? There is another new Whitney family member...

Jameson Martin Hogle was born on March 8, 2004 at Concord Hospital in Concord, New Hampshire. His parents are Jason and Nicole (Carlson) Hogle.
I will be leaving on March 26th to travel to New Hampshire to meet my newest grandson.

The reason I will be unable to attend the reunion is because in mid-July I will be traveling to Vermont to welcome yet another grandchild. I just can not justify the expense of 2 trips out east from Minnesota in such a short time frame and, because of family obligations caring for my elderly parents here, I am unable to extend my trip for a longer period at that time. Truly part of the sandwich generation it seems.

I want to thank the planners of the reunion for all their hard work, and I regret that I can not attend.
