It is for the WHITNEY family of Whitney-on-Wye, Herefordshire,
England. Since neither Henry nor John nor Samuel (of Bermuda)
is proven to belong to this family (yet!!), it doesn't apply
to them or their descendants. In fact, I believe it is the
case that there are no WHITNEY families anywhere in the world
who can PROVE their descent from this family, although it is
likely that many do.

On the other hand, there are many families of other surnames
who descend from this family through WHITNEY heiresses, and
are thus entitled to quarter the WHITNEY arms. The heraldic
information on the new page would be applicable to them.
