Dear WRG:

In looking at my CD image of the original pages of the published VR of
Harvard, I find that there is a transcription error in what we have published for
the Whitney extracts.

In our published version there is a marriage entry that reads

Sally F. and Jacob F. of Watertown, Mar. 31, 1836. (implying Whitney m.
Whitney)

This contains two mistakes, and should read

Sally P. and Jacob F. TAYLOR of Watertown, Mar. 31, 1836.
