Dear Roger:

In the data that Karl copied within his response you state that Joseph
Whitney was born on Feb 21st but fail to give the year. Marrying in 1811 it
suggests somewhere in the 1780's to 1790. Given the relative numbers of Whitneys in
MA and VT, perhaps looking in MA might help. I own the CD set of all the MA
Vital Records. If you can put a year (and a possible suggestion about place)
on that birthdate, I'll see if I can find something.
