Hello George,
I'm afraid were are dealing with two different Josiahs. My Josiah was
confused by Pierce with Josiah, son of Nathaniel and Hannah Day of Biddeford
and Gorham, Maine with his cousin, Josiah, son of Dr. John and Jerusha
(Knowles) Whitney of Eastham, Cape Cod. Pierce was able to do this because
he never heard of Dr. John Whitney. It's a long story. If you want to hear
it, Ill send you the problem, along with the solution. Good luck in you
research.
