Usually when someone puts (sp) at the end of the word they mean they aren't
sure if it is spelled correctly.

I need help in finding out what list, if any, this word, "Aberesche (sp.)"
refers to. The emailer ask me info abt. people passing through New Orleans
and what I would advise to research that. The problem is that she has
Earthlink which doesn't deliver her emails & goes through some convoluted
process and I still can't make contact. I did make contact on one
occassion. I don't know how, & received an answer that she got my name for
a list with reference to the word "Aberesche (sp.)".
I take it that "sp." may mean Spanish but I'm not sure.
