Searching for any further information on my ancestors from Eau Claire County:
Great grandfather Tolef Gilbertson (Tolle Gulbrandsen), b. Norway Aug.
10, 1851, m. Susan Lamb (Johnalambsdatter) also b. Norway Nov. 28, 1853;
both d. in Eau Claire, he Oct. 6, 1911, she May 25, 1933 - they lived at
318 N. Dewey St.

Grandfather Julius C. Gilbertson was b. and d. in Eau Claire (b. June 28,
1875, d. Feb. 24, 1933). He married Jessie McGrath, b. EC July 6, 1875,
d. EC Oct. 17, 1958.

Jessie's parents were John Findlay McGrath, b. Ireland May 24, 1826, d.
EC Nov. 5, 1908 at his home on 703 Main St. He had married Mary A.G.R.
Byrnes, b. Boston Apr. 9, 1836, who d. EC May 13, 1910. Would like info
on the descendents of their two other children: Major Hugh Jocelyn McGrath
(who had one child, Charles Blair from a marriage to Lillian Blair, and
no children from 2nd marriage to Mary Carson) and Emmet (of whom we know
nothing but a mention in an obit).

My parents were Julius Charles Gilbertson (b. EC Nov. 8, 1907, d. EC June
3, 1978) and Dorothy Manville Barrington, b. Viola June 16, 1908, d. EC
Aug. 26, 1992). They lived mostly on Graham Avenue and later Third Avenue
in EC.
