Mrs. Peterson
Mrs. Margaret Peterson, 72,
of 816 Metomen St., Ripon,
died at 12:15 p.m. Thursday
at Ripon Memorial Hospital,
where she was a patient tor
10 days.
She was born Oct. 23, 1903,
in the Town of Waupun, the
daughter of the late Herman
and Bertha Borchardt Raube.
She was married to Arthur
Thiel on June 23, 1928, and
he died Jan. 4, 1948. On Feb.
15, 1958, she was married to
George Peterson.
Mrs. Peterson was employed
as a clerk by a florist. She
was a member of the Ladies
Guild of Our Saviour's United
Church of Christ In Ripon,
Pilgrim-Rebekah Lodge 195
and Canton of Fond du Lac.
Surviving are her widower;
a daughter, Mrs. G e r a l d
(Marlow) Winne of Stevens
Point; a son, Kenneth Thiel
of Bradenton, Fla.; nine
grandchildren; five brothers,
Henry, Remhold, Ervin and
William Raube all of Brandon
and Edwin Raube of Oshkosh.
Other survivors are three
sisters, Miss Marie Raube and
Mrs. Verna Priepke, both of
Brandon, and Mrs. Anne
Priepke of Eldorado. A sister
and brother preceded her in
death.
Funeral services will be held
at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our
Saviour's United Church of
Christ, Ripon. The Rev. Keith
Tussing will officiate, and
burial will be in Woodlawn
Cemetery, Ripon.
Friends of Mrs. Peterson
may call from 3 to S and 7
to 9 p.m. today at Butzin-Marchant
Funeral Home, Ripon.
